I bought this head new through musiciansfriend.com about a year ago and it has resided in my smoke free home ever since.
I did upgrade the V1 tube to a NOS Telefunken tube which really tightens up the bottom end on these heads. Sorry, I do not have the original Sovtek.
Many people ask what the difference is between these and the old DB750. Soundwise, not much, just a bit more flexible EQ section, especially in the midrange. It's got quieter fans and none of the tube hiss that the DB750's have which is nice.
It's a monster head that sounds great, is built like a tank, and is super reliable.
I'm going to ask
$1500 $1400 FIRM shipped and insured within the continental US via Paypal or Money Order.
It will include ALL of the original components and packaging as pictured below.
As far as trades go, I'd consider any of the following trades + or - cash (warning: I'm picky)
-G&L L-1000 (Early lawsuit headstock, hog/ebony, sunburst finish)
-Rickenbacker 4003 (older model with the extra 2 screws in the bridge, Fireglo)
-Gibson RD Artist (preferably sunburst or black)
PM me if you have any questions, thanks for looking!
(any questionable marks on the amp in the pics are just reflections or dust.
