"If you post a "feeler" ad, you MUST post a price with it. This is not an auction site - If you want people to "bid" on your item, take it to ebay. Trade feeler threads are allowed, but if it turns into a FS thread, seller MUST post a price or the thread will be immediately closed or deleted." |

But, of course, that's exactly what you're being. "If you want people to "bid" on your item, take it to ebay."
I wasn't looking for "bidders". I was just treating this forum like a regular classified nickel ad.
So take your own --- to ebay.
Sorry to one and all for not knowing THE RULES. This is my second day as a supporting member and my first ever ad on here. I'll do my best to get up to speed so as to not upset the sticklers. |

You ought to be ashamed of yourself lol. I got the same thing on my first post. Instead of sending a pm and really being the cool helpful guy they want to portray I got my hand slapped for it. Some people get off on stuff like that I guess. |

And you're not adding anything . . . | A bit of advise - You might actually have more luck selling this if you had a bit more respect for POTENTIAL BUYERS (you are trying to sell something, no?)
Everyone viewing this thread obviously had some sort of interest in your amp, but after the way you're reacting, I know I'm sure not going to be looking twice... |

I think not.
So far, it has not been "potential buyers" who are publically harrassing me for an honest mistake.
The "potential buyers" who are reasonable enough to see this have been in touch, and a sale is pending.
Only one of the "potential buyers" who have contacted me have actually posted anything here on the thread. And for the record, most true potentials don't bother posting, they just PM.
But we can see the majority of the sort that actually are posting, can't we?
I stand by what I said already: if that stickler (and yourself, for that matter) was really trying to just be helpful, he/you would just PM me with the helpful advice (for which thanks would be given), instead of trying to embarrass others and govern the thread by proxy.
Talkbass is being overrun by "big brothers" and wannabe mods looking over everyone else's shoulders and stirring the pot. If my choosing to confront public harrassment publically makes you uncomfortable, then move on.
Note to others: at 4pm PST a sale is pending. Thanks!
