FS/FT: Ashdown Little Giant 1000

I recently got this in a trade-in at a music store, but pairing it with my two 8 ohm cabinets is probably not the best idea in the world. It is like new and has only been used for a few hours. It comes with the original box, power cord, and the rack ears. For an outright sale, I would like to get $350.00 OBO - buyer pays shipping. As far as trades, I'm open to a lot of different things - mostly other power amps - especially Genz Benz - but it won't hurt to send me a PM! I wouldn't mind trading "up" and paying cash + this amp.

Product Description:
Despite fitting into the front pocket of an average bass guitar gig bag, the new Ashdown Little Giant 1000 bass amp punches way above its weight of 7.7lbs/3.5kg with a heavy-hitting combination of power, tone and features. Measuring just 8.27 inch x 2.6 inch x 12.2 inch (including an internal power supply), the Little Giant packs a comprehensive range of facilities including switchable active/passive instrument inputs, 7 band semi-parametric EQ for precision tone shaping, Deep and Shape switches for instant access to killer sounds and an EQ in out switch, along with an input level control and meter, output level control and power switch. Things are equally impressive around the back of this pint-sized power-house, with a pre/post switchable balanced DI output, FX send and return, line input and output and a pair of combination Speakon/Jack speaker outputs. Hooked up to a good bass cabinet, the Little Giant comes alive with a full, rich sound and stunning dynamics that belie their diminutive weight and size.

I'll post some pictures when I got home. Thanks for your time!

There's not a lot of dirt to be had with this amp. It's got more of a "hi-fi" vibe akin to Markbass. It can sound very warm, but nothing approaching an overdrive type of sound.

quick question. It's 500w at 4ohm per side, right? So I can hook up 2 4 ohm cabs?

Yes, that's correct. Two separate poweramps at 500W-4Ohms. It's great if you have 4 ohm cabinets - I do not.
