SOLD to Skip_NJ!
I have an Avatar SB112 that I would like to sell or trade. It has been my main cab for the last 3-4 years, so it has seen a number of gigs. However, it has been used mostly as a practice cab for the last year or two, so it is in very good condition with no visible signs of wear & tear. It has the rat fur covering, which, while it is ugly as sin, is very durable and isn't showing any signs of snagging, pulling, or tearing. The cab is rated for 500 watts @ 8 ohms and weighs 45-50 lbs. This can get fairly loud for a 1x12 cab, but I wouldn't use it on it's own for a loud rock band. On it's own, it is a very nice cab for small gigs or rehearsals. It also does really well in loud gigs when paired with another small. It has been a very reliable, nice-sounding cab, but I just don't have a need for it anymore.
I would like to do a local deal, if possible, for $175. I could drive to either Tampa or Orlando to meet anyone interested in buying. I'm willing to ship, but I would rather avoid it if possible. For trades, I don't need any more cabs, but I wouldn't mind some effects. Partial trades for an EHX Bass Big Muff, or an octave pedal (Boss OC2, MXR BOD, Aggy Octamizer, etc.) would be welcome. Let me know if have any combination of pedals, with additional cash going either direction, that you would be interested in trading for this cab.
