FS/FT Bergantino NV 215 and Ampeg V4

Sign in to disble this ad
For sale Bergantino NV 215 Only Left the house once for a GTG. And a Mid 70's Ampeg V4 the only issue is the reverb tank does not work. Looking for 750.00 for the 215 and 650.00 for the V4. Local sale preferred will ship for actual shipping and packing costs. Trades make me an offer Amps,Cabs, A B-15 N or S would do it for even trade for both of these as long as it is in good shape. Basses 4 strings preferred but not exclusive Roscoe Beck 4 or 5 would be cool too. If you got something interesting run it by me.
Pictures coming soon. Make me a reasonable offer I just might take it.

This cab was only really used once. It is in great condition . Also not limited to the cabs and basses I mentioned if you have something interesting run it by me.

Howdy. How old is the cab? I assume you're original owner. If you don't know how old it is, do you know when Berg switched to tolex? Were there any changes to the cab other than rat fur to tolex, if you know? Thx, DM

The 215's were ratfur from beginning to end I believe. I am the original owner and the cab is right around 3 years old give or take 3 months. This cab has been in the house since i got it except one GTG and is in very good shape.

Thanks for the info. Just found out it would cost about $200 to pack/ground ship to CA. Yikes! Have to mull this over. Good luck regardless and happy holidays. DM

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that the original production was all ratfur, then after it was discontinued for a while when Jim began reissuing them, he did them in tolex.

tombowlus would know if there were any technical changes -- you might PM him and ask.

As far as I know there were no changes to the speakers or crossover when they were put back into production for that short period.

Just to clarify if you trade for this cab or amp you are responsible for packing and shipping costs.

I think that Jim might have added the mid attenuator when he went to the tolex version. My first NV215 was the first one that had the mid attenuator (at my request), but to be honest, 95% of the time, I run it wide open.

IMHO, the carpet covered NV215's are just as good as the tolex-covered ones.
