i have for sale my main rig that i am selling because i am downsizing after not gigging for over a year.
bfm omni 15 $350
-my uncle, who owns a woodworking shop, and i built a omni 15 designed by bill fitz. i used all the high end electronics and speakers he recomended. it is a 1x15( kappalite pro 3015lf) and 1x8 eminence alpha mra. Cross over specs are bills and work very well. the cab is built out of 1/2 in birch plywood. 1/4in and speakon inputs. probably wieghs 75lbs...
looking to trade for other speaker cabinents that would be portable, acme, schroeder, tc electronics, bfm 2x10s, 2x12s maybe even just a 1x15

Those Omni's are reputed to be absolute beasts. LOUD and LOW. It's not really made out of 1/4" plywood is it?

Was the cab covered in anything, like Duratex, carpet, or tolex, before being painted, or did you just paint on top of the raw wood?
