SOLD If you're looking to give the tone of your rig clean sound, or a great tube preamp for recording, this is one. Demeter has been the standard for 25 years. This is an older 1990 preamp probably made by Jim Demeter himself (no DI) The painted Demeter is worn off over the years. $225 Shipped OBO or trade plus cash for Markbass 604, LM II

Demeter Specs:
Signal To Noise Ratio: Greater than 98 dB
Total Harmonic Distortion: Less than 0.1 %,
Frequency Response: 10 Hz to 40 kHz.
Maximum Output: 20 Volts rms into a 100 kHz load
Dimensions:

width: 19”
depth: 9”

No DI

Yes, this unit did not come with a DI.......still, very magical sound and I agree with others that this unit is better sounding than the 1 space (I have both). Thanks for looking

Killer Deal Alert!

A VTBP-201 sounds absolutely awesome into a Berg IP. Quiet and clean. Sweet.

If you don't need a DI or alot of EQ, this is the ticket, and a steal at that. One with a DI would be at least $100 to $125 more. I'd pick this up in a heartbeat if I didn't already have one...

That is the lowest price for that pre i ever saw. Well worth it. DI or not.

Maybe if I raised the price, someone would snag it? I was turned on to these preamps in the mid 90's mostly for it's simplicity and clean sound. I actually amazed by how many BP's don't know about it.
