FS/FT EA Iamp 800 - $525 shipped (VA/DC/MD)

Sign in to disble this ad
SOLD

I am selling my iamp 800. This is the model that has the integrated tuner. A little rack rash, perhaps, otherwise in good condition. Sounds like . . . an iamp 800! Asking $525 shipped, I always listen to offers. Definitely tradeable for micro amps +/- cash, or Lakland basses.

SOLD

Yes, all EA amps are Class D : Euphonic Audio

"EA's solution to this was to compromise a bit of weight for much better sound. EA uses a toroidal power transformer as opposed to a "switching" transformer as in other Class D designs. The net difference is that the EA iAMP 800 weights 19 pounds as opposed to 10 pounds but has a full range sound that is second to none."

Not all EA amps are Class D!! The iAmp 800 was the first of EA's Class D amp line.

You are correct, I misread the website, which says "The EA iAMPs are all "Class D" amplifiers." The link still provides correct information for the iamp800, which contains a class D power section. It is still for sale, and I am still looking for offers.
