FS/FT Epifani PS1000

Yes, 1000 WATTS!

This is a very nice Epifani Performance Series PS1000. $1000 new...These are great heads. Very simple but flexible, at the same time. It has a clean, less colored sound, which is why I like it so much. It has 2 separate 500 watt power amps (4ohms each). So, for smaller gigs..you can just use one of them, or use both when you need more cabs for larger gigs. So, this is one of the few lightweight, Class D amps that can handle two 4 ohm cabs!!
There is nothing I dislike about the amp at all..I love it..Just want to get another UL502.

$675 shipped or LOOKING TO TRADE for Epifani 502/902.

Comes in original Epifani box with power cord and manual. RACK NOT INCLUDED.

1000 watts!

Hey guys, I am needing to sell this ASAP. Can't do any trades, I need cash. This amp is amazing! Especially bridged at 1000 watts into an 8ohm cab. Thunderous! Comes in original Epifani box with manual, power cord, and I'm even throwing in a speakon cable!

Sounds like a nice amp. A guy I know just ordered one -- will have to see what he has to say about his.

Meanwhile, just to be sure I understand correctly, you can run a 4 or 8 ohm cab (or two 8 Ohm cabs) off each side of the amp (similar in that regard to my Shuttlemax 12.0). You can also bridge the output into an 8 Ohm load (I can't do that with my 12.0). You can not, however, bridge the output into a single 4 Ohm load... can you? That would be almost to good to be true.

Correct

Mark A, you are correct on all of that. However, when it is bridged and pumping 1,000 watts into an 8ohm cab, I don't think you'll feel cheated that it's not a 4ohm cab. LOL

This amp puts out massive clean hi-fi bass! your friend will love it. And you will too if you buy mine.

I don't doubt it! Still (as I have a single, 4-ohm cab at the moment), it'd be nice!

I'll be very interested to hear my acquaintance's PS-1000. He's mostly used Eden stuff, I believe, while my admittedly limited experience is with the aforementioned Genz head and a Markbass. It'll be interesting to see how it thumps, of course, but also to hear where it falls tonally.
