FS/FT Feeler: Carvin BRX112 neo combo & 10.2 neo ext cab . . .

EDIT: Selling the minty 10.2 Neo cab for $300 shipped east, $325 west. Save over $100 off new!

For possible sale or trade is a Carvin BRX112 neo combo, which has the well regarded B800 amp that runs 800 watts at 2 ohms, in a 40-some-odd pound package with a neo 1x12 and a separate 50watt amp for the adjustable tweeter. It sits perfectly on top of a Carvin BRX 10.2 neo cab, which has 2 neo 10s and an adjustable tweeter, also nice and light. Very portable two piece that matches and makes for a nice impressive and clean looking medium sized stack. I like this rig alot becuase it is loud and clear and modern sounding, but can get a nice grind with the drive knob. Plenty of threads here talking good about this amp. With the ext cab it is running 2.66 ohms, so it is using almost all of the 800 watts.

I sold a heavy 15s rig to get it a couple of years ago for my home jam room, as I was playing mostly guitar recently and using the usual bassist's rig when I played bass. So it has not left my home studio, never gigged, and is like new. The only issue is the active/passive switch, which does not seem to cut the volume in active mode. Carvin said it is likely an easy fix, either a bad connection or a bad switch, cheap part, but I never bothered to fix it as it didnt bother me and I would just use the volume control if I switched from my Rumblefish to an active bass.

However, Im playing more bass now, and getting into a P sound and really miss the thunka thunk thunk of a 15. But I still want something lightweight. So looking for nice light (and smallish) 15 cabs, like the Schroeder 115+L or the Bag End or anything else along that line. Might consider light 12s. No 10s please unless part of a set that has a separate 15 under it. Also looking for a nice light head, such as the Carvins B800 or BX500, or the Genz Benz shuttle, or a LMK, or Eden traveler, etc. Sale $675 plus shipping, can add cash to right trade. This is a feeler, Im just seeing what is out there. $300 shipped east. $325 shipped west for 10.2 alone.

I am new here but have over 50 high dollar transactions on thegearpage, over 100 on ebay (c-dub3030), and a couple at the Reverend Discussion Page.

Hey -- not right now. I get the Schroeder on Tuesday and want to see how it matches with the BRX112 on top. But the 10.2 is for sale.

Is the BRX 10.2 still for sale?

IMO it is one the most underrated 2x10 cabs made. Solid tone and great construction. Sadly I had to let a mint one go for really cheap
