FS/FT Feeler: Demeter HBP-1 preamp

Sign in to disble this ad
Greetings!

Seriously considering swapping out my Demeter HBP-1 preamp. In VG condition, works perfectly. Basic rash on top/bottom and some scarring from being in a rack. but nothing more than expected. I typically use screws w/rubber-encased heads, so not much screw rash. Most is top/bottom, which you can't see anyway.

Only reason I'm considering is because I never use the sweepable mids and use a JDI to get rid of the board. I'm perfectly happy with the sound. Just no use having something with features I don't use and that means carring extra gear because it doesn't have features I DO need. I've been using my BBE BMaxT for the last few gigs and really like the comp and the Jensen pre on the output. And it's got a great sound to boot!. The BBE has become my "one-stop shop", so I think I'll see if I can move the Demeter. Plus, since it looks like my buddy Riis has just about got his traded, I'll see if I can't absorb any excess interest.

Looking for $485 shipped CONUS. Or a partial trade for something interesting. No pedals!

Scuse me... I've owned the black 1.5 rack units version... but don't remember the model name... yours is like that or it's the newer one?
It's a shame you're so far, mate!

The 1.5 rack-space was the original VTBP-201.

The HBP-1 contains the basic tone-shaping circuitry of the VTBP plus a defeatable 2-band parametric EQ. Both bands (low and high) of the parametric are adjustable for boost, frequency, and bandwidth. The parametric adds a ton of tone-shaping! However, being the simple guy that I am, I usually just defeat the parametric and go with the basic front-end.

Oh, and yes I may be far away, but FedEx still travels to Europe! I'll be glad to ship on your dime!

I'll consider it, but a perfect deal for me would be a trade/partial trade or at least a deal within Europe to keep costs low

EDIT: May now be interested in trade for a LMII, Shuttle 6.0, F1, etc or similar size heads. Kinda depends on where a trade offer I made goes.

Hit me up with these trades too!

Very, very possible. Again, it depends on a trade deal I've got working. Lemme hear back from my guy and we'll see.

That Neo-Pack do 2 ohms?
