(Huge Reduction!) FS/FT: Fender 400 Pro combo & 115 Pro cab

Sign in to disble this ad
(HUGE PRICE REDUCTION!!!)

I wasn't going to list these on TB due to shipping costs (probably $150+ for the two pieces), however, let's try this:

I have them for sale locally. Here's the ad:
Excellent shape.
They also both have the Fender covers.
The combo lists at $1425
The 115 extension cab lists at $999

Selling the pair for $500 (WHAT?!?)
May consider separating for the right offer.

All info at these links:
http://www.fender.com.au/amplificati...ro400combo.php
http://www.fender.com./products/sear...tno=2217800010

The pix are from the Fender site as my digital camera is down (need a new charger).
The 115 is the exact matching extension cab for the combo. Those pix are not to scale with each other.
The combo does not come with the tuner shown. It's just to show you have a single available rack space for gear.
My 115 has the same stackable corners you see on the combo, not those metal ones. They stack perfectly. Casters are removable.
I'll try to get actual pix up in a few days if these are still here at this price.

Full or partial (+/- $$$) trades for Spector 6 string basses or Markbass amps.

$500 for a local TB'r or one passing through town that can pick up or $600 shipped in the Con Us.

If Separate:
400 Pro combo-$350 local/pick up or $400 shipped.
115 Pro cab-$150 local/pick up or $200 shipped.

Only stock pix until my camera is fixed.

Thanks.

OK,
Except for a couple trade offers I'm not getting much interest.
Is my price too high? I'm not familiar with this amp (Got it in trade and used it on one gig. It's a bit overkill for me.) so other than looking up it's info on the net (list price, etc.) I don't know.

I know most anybody's 210 combo like this is fairly pricey.

If you think my price is off, make offers, make suggestions.

I'm open. Thanks.

I think Fender is a good bran on Guitar amps,Guitars,Bass guitars....But is not a big name on the bass amp end.................Do not get me wrong I own the rig you have except for the single 1x15 and its sounds great.......BUT its not up their with Mark Bass, Eden, Mesa, Genz Benz,ECT.
As you know this amp is not a light rig I know mine is not at least...... Every one is going to the light amps that sound just as good or better......Mark Bass Gennz Benz are I think in the lead as far as weight....But anyways thats my opnion.......Good luck

Thanks for the input.
Are comparable 2x10 combo's like the Eden Metro, Carvin, etc. that much less in weight? With relatively the same components, unless they're using neo's or cheaper, lighter cabinet wood, I would think the weight would be comparable.

In fact, I used to own the Carvin kickback 2x10 cab with a different amp head in it (a Hartke 3500) and I know it weighed more than this one.

I was basically just talking equivalent 2x10 combos.
Like I said, my old Carvin 2x10 combo was much heavier than this.
