FS/FT Gallien-Krueger 800rb trade for 4 string Squier Mod Bass

Informed I can't audition for a gig with my 5 string bass. Damn rockabilly purists!

So I'm in need of a 4 string bass before the end of the month.

Anyone want to trade this warhorse of head for a Squier bass. I'd prefer a P bass but those Js are sweet also. As long as it's a 4 string.

Or $300 shipped......

I'm new to Talkbass but have sold basses to local TBers and used to sell alot on Ebay. I can get a few people on here to vouch for my credibility.

The head was serviced 2 years ago at Chicago's Music Garage by Pete. I got into these heads through CPE Rehearsal Space there. It's a great head.

Looks to be maybe a 90's model. Still has the two plugs for the 100w amp. It looks as if it still has the larger pots as well, similar to the one I had made in the 80's that I got rid of, stupidly. The newer pots are much smaller and dont' have the same feel to them.

Sometimes they have a sticker on the left side under the power plug that gives the year as well. I'm interested. I'll have to check my finances real quick.

Since you play in s Rock a Billy band, I would suggest the Squire vintage modified jaguar,it sits and looks good with that scene and music,I have one for that purpose but no band yet, mine is the black with the tort guard and matching black headstock,it plays really nice the neck is slim and fast...
