Here's the deal...
I have both a GBE400 and a GBE1200. I could live with the GBE400 but would prefer to have the utility of a tube channel. I could live with the GBE1200, but it has way more power than I could possibly ever use. I would be happy to sell either or both of these amps, and end up with a GBE600 or GBE750.
The GBE400 is a little rough cosmetically, but functions very well, and I would consider selling it for $425. The GBE1200 is in excellent shape both functionally and cosmetically, includes the foot pedal, and I would like to see $850 for it.
Feel free to run trade offers by me, but please understand that I have stated very clearly what my trade wishes are, so try at least to stick with something reasonably close. I have no interest in micro-heads, or inexpensive basses, or effects pedals. Of course if you wanna trade me a Fodera for these two amps, the answer is definitely a yes!
Pics to follow later.

There is also some adhesive "stuff above the tone controls, but I can and will remove this. There are a number of screws missing from the top cover, but these will be replaced with real GENZ BENZ screws before shipping, as will the missing nut and washer from one of the 1/4 speaker outputs on the back.

And a a bonus feature all the little blue lights draw females like ants to sugar.
You should keep the 1200. |

You should keep the 1200. | Agreed with everything you say here. I love the Genz sound, I just don't need two amps, and the 1200 is way excessive. However, if the 400 goes, the 1200 stays. Maybe...
Oh, and PM's returned. |

| | Registered User | | Join Date: Aug 2002 Location: North of GTA, ON, Canada | | | Had me one of those. I had a GBE1200 and played it through my Neox 112t or 212t. I traded it in to a dealer and purchased my ShuttleMAX 6.0 as I already had a GBE750 for 2ohm duty.
Although my Shuttle MAX 6.0 is just terrific, in many ways it just doesn't pound through my cabs the way the mighty GBE1200 did.
That V8 power of the 1200 just has a way of controlling the woofers with big ol' bad ass linear power supply goodness and has punch that the Shuttle MAX can't quite manage.
It's not so much about the power but it's the availability of flexible tonal control to me. The GBE1200 has the full 2-channel EQ and the really nice footswitch for the global tonal options. Keep that one!
