FS/FT Hartke 5000 SOLD

Sign in to disble this ad
Great amp, built like a tank. 250 watts per channel at 4ohms, 170 per channel at 8ohms. Blendable tube and ss preamp, 10 band eq, bi-amp mode with crossover. Good amp for a multi cab setup. This one has been used heavily but works great.

Only reason I'm letting it go is because its not bridgable, I just got a great deal on a hydrive 115 cab, so i'm looking to build a rig around that.

$175 plus shipping. For trades, I need a good powerful head to run that 115, preferably an LH500 or something similar.

specs:
Hartke - 5000

I used to have one of these and if memory serves me correctly, you can bridge it by pushing the Bi-amp button on the back into mono mode and using the high frequency output speaker jacks.

I'm quite sure this model is not bridgeable, I've read the manual and searched these forums and that's the consensus. The bi-amp mode allows setting a crossover frequency when running two cabs with different speaker sizes as opposed to full range mono mode. With only one cab, all you can access is one channel.

If I'm wrong, someone please lend clarity, I just don't want to misinform anyone.

I just read the manual and I believe you are correct. My apologies. I must have made up my own rules when I owned one.
