Hey everyone, I am thinking of downsizing my rig and getting a smaller amp (probably a combo).
The Hughes and Kettner BassBase 400 is an awesome amp, and I love it to death, but trying to raise a family in the near future and other things going on made me think I don't really need such a huge amp for a tiny space. The Ampeg cabinet is in alright shape, I say that because some of the tolex is a bit damaged and the grill is a bit loose and dirty (I acquired it in a trade), but all of the speakers work and it sounds great.
In terms of trade, since the Amp itself sells for $400+ when I see them on eBay (and that's rarely) and the cab new sells for $750, I would love an Ampeg combo and some cash, depending on which combo it is.
In terms of pricing, I don't know how much it would cost to ship the Ampeg but I would say $400+shipping (or best offer) and for the H&K amp $350+shipping (or best offer).
If someone is in Florida and wants to get it I can offer them a discount on the price and obviously no shipping charge
Oh and I can also throw in the case/power condition/etc for an extra amount if you want.
