FS/FT Joe Meek 6Q Channel Strip

Sign in to disble this ad
I am selling this because I want to buy a Crown power amp or similar. Will take a trade as well
I can include real pics for anyone interested. It's in like-new condition, I bought it here on TB a month ago. I really like this pre and planned on keeping it. It has a cool "vintagey" vibe. The compressor is pretty flexible as well. However I just got a Demeter HBP-1 tube pre amp on trade for my Markbass LMII, one of my must haves so something goes when something arrives.

Here is the info from MusiciansFriend

The Joemeek SixQ is a mic channel strip that packs a wealth of features into a single rack space studio channel.

Joemeek SixQ
This single channel mic pre is based on a high-quality Burr-Brown IC, and has 3 bands of highly musical EQ, Joemeek's signature optical compressor, and a front-panel instrument DI making it a highly capable recording instrument. And, along with an analog output, the SixQ microphone preamp also lets you output digitally—direct to your sound card or DAW.

Digital Interface:
The Joemeek Digital Audio Interface provides high quality digital audio outputs. The digital audio outputs are compatible with most digital recorders, as well as Digital Audio Workstations and mixers. S/PDIF format is available from the optical and RCA phono connectors. The Joemeek Digital Interface has highly stable onboard master clocks for low-jitter, hi-fi results. Internal sample rates of 44.1kHz, 48kHz, 88.2kHz or 96kHz are selected by means of rear panel switches.

Joemeek SixQ Mic Pre with Digital Out Features:
SixQ
Single channel mic preamp
Three bands of highly musical EQ
Joe Meek signature optical compressor
Analog or digitally output
Single rack space unit

I am looking for $275 PRICE DROP $250 shipped. I will take a decent wattage Crown power amp for trade. Shoot any other power amp offers my way.

Bump! It has digital outs to record straight to your computer! Nice 60's style compressor, musical eq. Phantom outs for your mike. I used that to power my sansamp BDDI.
