+1 i spoke to him about this as well when he serviced mine last year.i was going to convert mine but he talked me out of it.i left it alone and its dead quiet. |

You can build or buy a 1' extension cord for the wall wart which solves 99% of the issues associated with them while keeping the audio clean. |

I have moved the rack around a little bit and it has never showed any signs of falling out. It is a very quiet pre.
