Hey
This Kern IP777 is now... SOLD!!
...up for grabs. With two other (smaller, lighter) preamps to choose from--that are only backup to my West anyway--I really have no use to keep it hanging around.
It's just as everyone has heard already; it sounds great and is very versitile. It's in perfect working order and cosmetically it probably rates a 9. There's scuffs on the bottom; though no scratches are through the paint. Also, though I've no idea how/when this occured, there are letters missing from the front panel. There are no scratches and no peeled up decals exist, but some words are missing letters. As an example, where it should say 'Peak LED', it now reads " eak LED". Again, I am assured there are no scratches or marring that removed the print, some of it is just not there.
There's always a question about the power supply, so I'll attempt to describe this one. Coming out the rear of the unit is a short cable with an XLR end. This connects to a longer XLR cable that runs into a small box with a power cable coming out the other side. I've no idea if it is factory done, but I really doubt that's the case.
I do have a few pics, but unfortunately I no longer seem to be able to navigate Photobucket and the like with my screenreader. If you wish to receive pics (or otherwise have questions), drop an eMail to
BrettsBass@comcast.net. Of course if you wish, questions can always be asked via PM.
$650/SOLD! shipped/insured to the lower 48 only.
Trades??? I'm really very satisfied with amp/preamp/pedals. Basses? I've got so many parts I want to put together, I think I'd only be interested in bodies (finished or not; routed or not) &/or necks (4-str, long-scale, 2+2).
Cabs? I'm being quite particular, but...
* A fEarful 15/6? 12/12/6? Can you build?
* 2x15 or 4x12? Berg? Boogie?
Thanks folks
