FS/FT Mesa Boogie 400+ w/ Mesa head case.

I picked this up a few weeks ago off of CL to try out. It's a cool amp and quite loud, but is another in a long line of amps that haven't been able to unseat the M6 as my goto head.

I believe this one is from the early 90's. It has the attached power cord and there was a date of 10/16/92 written on a part underneath the bottom cover. It also come with the Mesa Headcase. The head is in really nice shape. No major scratches or marks, though there are some small ones on the handles and around the rackmount holes. The case is also in good shape with no tears in the tolex. The plastic corners are scuffed up and thee are some scuff marks on the bottom of the case.

Asking $950 for local sale. Shipping may be possible, but buyer pays actual shipping.

This is about the minty-est 400+ I have ever seen. I owned one for a few years. The tone is worth the weight, if your back can handle it.

Thanks! It is a really great sounding amp, but since I like the M6 better I don't need something like this as a backup.

I've decided I would really like to try a Streamliner 900. I would be willing to trade the 400+ for a SL900 + actual shipping on the Mesa. I put together a quote for someone and to Chicago it was $90.

Cash price is negotiable and if your semi local I'll cut a nice deal for the 400+ and Mesa ph610 I have listed.
