FS: Mesa Boogie Big Block 750

First off, I am not a new member here, though I am new to being a supporting member! I hope my lack of feedback doesn't turn anyone away.

With that being said, I am putting up my BB750 for sale. This amp has been with me for just over 4 years. I've loved every single second of it. The tone is great, and it is in great condition. Unfortunately, I am not playing bass nearly enough to justify having this beast collecting dust. Hopefully some of you are interested!

There is some rack rash, but everything in the amp works. It has relatively new tubes in it as well. Probably changed them a year ago, but the amp has probably been on 3-4 times since then (:bawl:). The only "issues" with it are all cosmetic. Also, when I bought this from GC they didn't include a foot pedal so one is not included. If you have a normal stereo pedal that will work just fine.

I'm asking $750 $700 shipped. Need the cash, not accepting trade offers.

Killa deal. Best amp OD I've ever heard.

What kind of music would you use the 750 for?

Dudelike89 02-14-2013 06:55 PM

The 750 can be used for pretty much anything. I'd assume most use the 750 for rock due to the built in overdrive, though I've rarely used the overdrive because I don't have a stereo switch to turn the OD on. I've gotten great tones from a Stingray HH into the 750 into a Mesa powerhouse 610 cab. I can get tones for pretty much anything: funk, rock, raggae, etc... It's a very versatile amp! It's a solid state amp with a tube preamp, so it's very capable (or is in my experience).
