I am borrowing his thumbnails because it is sitting cross town at my rehearsal space as we speak.









My first and only attempt at owning a Mesa. More tone options than I know what to do with.
But alas, my SWR through my Aggie's wins out again and again. Plus, I never should have sold my AD600.
So, if anyone has an ABM or a Mark King they want to trade, I am ALL EARS!!!

360 Watts @ 4ohms.
I have also been told stable at 2 ohms, but never bothered trying.

Extremely similar (if not identical to my ears) with slightly more EQ options.

I A/B'ed this against a buddy's BrownFace Walkabout and they are extremely similar. MPulse has 5-Band Parametric EQ and 12 Mos-Fets, while Walkabout has 3-Band Patametric EQ and 6 Mos-Fets.

The SPAX7A PreAmp tubes will give you a touch more "ampeg-ish" headroom and thump, while stock 12AX7's are just...well...Mesa sounding!!

The MPulse 360 is billed as follows:

360 Watts @ 4ohms (2ohm stable), Simul-State™ Power / 12 Tube Driven Power Mos-Fets, 2x12AX7 PreAmp Tubes
Active/Passive Inputs
4 Stage Vacuum Tube Preamplifier with Gain, Active Bass & Treble, Passive Mid and Footswitchable 5-Band Semi Parametric EQ that provides 15db of cut or boost from 30Hz to 12KHz
