FS/FT: Mesa Carbine 2x12 Combo

Sign in to disble this ad
Bought it from the original owner, gig with it one night and it's just not for me. Perfect working order and minor cosmetic wear. Comes with cover and manual. Called Mesa Boogie and there is 3 years 10 months left on the warrenty.

The M6 head looks to be built to the latest specs, with extra vents on the top of the lid.

Here the specs as I know them:
- 4 ohm speaker configuration (will go to 2 ohms)
- weight is 91 lbs on bathroom scale, maybe a few lbs + / -
- 21.5 inches wide x 29.5 inches high x 17 inches deep

Here's a nice review:
http://www.musicradar.com/gear/all/a...-203271/review

This is going to have to be an in-person sale. I've looked into shipping and it's just going to be too expensive and a pain for me.

$775
This is almost like buying a used M6 head alone and getting the combo cab free!

I would love to trade this for a Bergantino AE410 (w/ cover and casters), Genz Benz Uber 410 or (maybe) another high-quality 410 cab.

Based on Mesa literature it is supposed to weigh ~ 100 lbs. Knowing what I'm capable of lifting I'd say that's correct.

I can get it in and out my car without too much hassle. I drive a Mazda 5 and the hatch opens up high enough that I can lift it, set it in and then tilt back.

The tilt back wheels make rolling it fairly easy, but carrying it up and down stairs is not fun

I'd be happy to meet him around the Washington Courthouse exit off I-71. I have a 12V to AC car adapter so he can even test the amp.

Yes, the M6 head will drive a 2 ohm load. I have updated my original post with its physical specs.

Bob, it's too bad you didn't list an Aguilar GS412 cab, a GK 700RB-II head, or a Spector Euro 5 string bass for trades!

Bump for a neighbor and a good guy to deal with.
