Just bought this as a sidekick to my Carbine. This model has the two seperate active/passive inputs and does not have the effects bypass switch. Comes with Mesa gigbag. It works great and sounds great, but I need a bit more juice.
About the red cover: When I purchased this amp the lid was a bit more scratched up than I would prefer (See pictures of the bottom). Instead of repainting it flat black I thought I would try red first. It came out decent, but not new car shiny. Truthfully I was hoping it would be a bit more impressive, but its definitely better than the scratched up black it was before.
