FS/FT: Sadowsky SA200 (plus rack bag) + Sadowsky SA410

Sign in to disble this ad
SOLD!!!
"WHAT!?"
This setup needs no introduction. This is everyone's favorite, ever elusive, all tube head/monster cab from the man in Brooklyn, Roger Sadowsky (and a little help from Jim B. of course). The one that tombowlus will probably be buried with. yeah, that one.

SA200 + Odyssey rack bag: $3350 shipped to lower 48 paypal e-check or money order. Second owner, mint condition. Brand new TAD 12AX7's in V1, V2, and TAD 6N1P in V3. Stock TAD EL34's have MUCH life left on them. Never gigged (previous owner didn't either...just did studio work). Comes with power cable and rack ears, rack bag (the bag is nice because its just one inch deeper than the SA200, making the combo a nice little (easily schlep-able) package. Sent to ebay!

SA410: $750 shipped to lower 48 paypal e-check or money order. Just picked this up from Roger's shop. It was a demo he used for NAMM a couple years ago, used with one of the shop's SA200s. After they moved the head, they no longer had need for this cab. Great condition as well (has been sitting in a storage room for a couple years). Comes with casters.

Check TalkBass forums for more relevant info about the amp and cab, particularly some of these...
Unofficial SA200 thread
comparo' with the DB750
Plenty more of course.

"Really, though...what the heck are you thinking??"
Yeah, well the biggest gigs i'll ever do is church stuff, and a 210 does me fine there. Basically I realized that over the past year, i have searched high and low looking for this complete, all tube powerhouse, and i really just don't need it. It was more of a want thing. Maybe in 30 years when this type of gear is no big "dip in the wallet" i'll feel differently. But for the sake of my marriage (lol no, but she will be happier if i quit buying and selling stuff) i've got to see these pieces off.

"Local?"
YES, please, any SoCal peeps (especially inland empire) are welcome to take this off my hands without shipping these babies! I might even give a discount for just grabbing them both up together

"Wait, i thought this was a FT thread too?"
Edit: just picked up an LMII, so my only trade considerations are for a:
1. Bergantino AE210

"Pics, you idiot!"
Of course. the obligatory cell phone pic just for kickers:

It is. the SA410 is probably THE punchiest cab i've ever played through! It's just too much for me Thanks for your input, TSanders!

Wow, I can't believe that's all you see on the inside. That's incredible. I have an Aguilar DB359, which is also an all-tube 200w amp (about 4 years old), and there's stuff all over the place in there. Good luck, I hear these SA200s are awesome. DM

Yeah, its pretty elegant the way they organized the inside casing. All the user serviceable parts are in a very nice looking place (underneath is the PCB and wires, etc.). We're not supposed to touch the rest lol

No, no, I apologize for being a tool. It just comes too naturally to me.

Actually, I would love to have a spare SA200, but I'm afraid I just can't justify the expense at present.

Tom.
