Just got this guy a few days ago from local TB'r. In great shape, no marks that I can see.
After trying several different types of Schroeder cabs, I've come to the conclusion that they just don't do "my sound". I guess I like more of a Hifi sound rather than the cut through low mid bump thing.
I will say, this BMF sounds Waaaaaay better than any of the folded cabs Schroeder does. Way smoother and more musical imo, while still cutting through the mix like you expect a Schroeder to.
Anyway, I want $425 which is what I paid. Local pickup preferred.

Again, just eyeballing it but totally manageable.

Jorg Schroeder has it listed at 38 lbs., while I bathroom scaled it at 42lbs.

I'm lucky enough to have a buddies 1212L at my house right now to compare the two.
The 1212L is much darker sounding with big holes in the midrange to my ear, and just mushier sounding all together. The BMF is much more clearly voiced if that makes any sense.
Playing it back to back with the BMF1210, it sounds like I'm comparing a cab with no tweeter to one that does. Much different from one another. The BMF has much more upper mid character, which allows you to hear the articulation of the notes and is much faster sounding while still retaining the low end punch.
I'm a sucker for Bergantino's I guess, b/c that's what I'll be getting after I sell this. Much more cash but I always come back to em. They just scratch what itches.
Here's a pic of em together. The Mesa is not for sale and the Markbass is sold. FYI.
Thanks!

I've been talking with Jorg for the past couple days about getting my second 15L+ cab, for the weight factor Schroeder is the best. Still miss my HT322, man that thing was a monster. |

The Schroeder sounds just as good and weights about 48 lbs, the Bergs are almost 100!! Quote:

Yeah, everyone has different needs and tastes. There is something out there for everyone. Honestly if I had the cash, I'd hang on to this for loud rock gigs but I can't afford to have several cabs, unfortunately.
Sick profile pic, btw!!
