FS/FT: SWR Baby Blue II combo

I have for sale an SWR Baby Blue II. This is the 2X8/5" mid driver configuration of the combo, and is a 1998 model according to the serial number. Amp is in very good condition overall, and has a brand-new JJ preamp tube and a recently reconed mid driver. Standalone, it produces 160W; with an extension cab, it can produce up to 200W. It weighs 44 pounds, but it's quite manageable thanks to the handle placement.

Amp comes with the fitted SWR cover.

I'm asking $525 plus shipping, or I'll trade for EA or Markbass heads. Shipping to the lower 48 only for now.

After receiving some inquiries about the "buzz" from the speakers, which sounded like a mild distortion, I examined them more closely. Turns out the issue was a dirty speaker jack, which was inducing distortion-I cleaned it and now the noise is gone. The speaker cones move smoothly and have no creasing or other damage.

Bump. After getting some quotes, shipping should be no more than $50. This amp has Celestion speakers.

These amps are silly good, especially for upright. I copped one several months ago and would jump all over this to have a spare if I had the dough.

For most club gigs, this amp is perfect. If you need a little more thump and can go into the mains, the line out sounds amazing.

I'd be interested in the cover, too, if there's any chance you'd off just that.
