FS/FT SWR Marcus Miller PreAmp M2

Sign in to disble this ad
Pristine condition Marcus Miller M2 Preamp including foot switch. Looking for $510.00 and will ship for free inside the continental USA. Ships from Maryland.

Trade wise:

I'm looking for a John East 4 knob 2 switch U retro on board preamp.

I'm also looking for 5 string bass, 34" scale, 19mm string spacing, maple neck, maple fingerboard, Natural ash/swamp ash, natural color (would consider a translucent). Cort GB75, TBC JT-500ss, Carvin B50 or something like a Lakland 5501 but 34" scale. Would like to stay away from colors but would even add cash for the right deal.

Lorenzo

a couple questions

"pristine condition"? I guess you are the first owner and it hasn't had much live use?

Sound-wise, I am not looking for SWR or MM sound. I am looking for versatility anad the ability to get a full thick sound. I thought a little bass intensifier, low-mid boost, and compression would do it. What do you think?

Thanks,
Tom H.

Tom,

The MM is extremely versatile. It will do all the above.

Bump for a great pre.

I'm not the first owner, but it has been kept extremely well, hard to tell the difference between this one and a new one out of the box.

This pre is not about getting the "Marcus" sound. Its about all of the things you want in any environment, any style, for great sound.

The preamp is extremely versatile. Here are the video demos from the guy who actually help design the thing.
