FS/FT: Tech Soundsystems 4x12 in Portland

I had this up here a little while back, then changed my mind when I paired it with my Walkabout. After getting used to the strengths and weaknesses of the Walkabout for awhile, now I've really got some major GAS for a Walkabout/ 15" cab combination. I also feel the need for the extra headroom of a 4 ohm cab to take full advantage of the Walkabout. The Tech was plenty loud with the 300 watts into 8 ohms from my Carbine, but the Walkabout's 150 watts just isn't enough to really open this cab up IMO!

I've had this cabinet for about 5 years, and loved it- it is compact (smaller than the average 4x10), loud, and punchy. This particular model is discontinued and was one of the earlier bass cabs to utilize angled front-firing baffles- so 2 of the 12" speakers fire forward and 2 at an angle. This gives the cabinet a unique low midrange punch and volume that seems to defy the small size, and was supposedly a direct influence for the later Schroeder bass cabinets in the U.S..

It has 4 custom built Tech 12" speakers and a high-end driver with a 6 position attenuator. There is one 1/4" input and two Speakon connectors, and the power handling is 600 watts into 8 ohms. It is in great functional condition, and has never been pushed by more than 300 watts. It shows cosmetic signs of lots of use- the "rat fur" covering has the usual rattiness, there are a couple of areas on the front grille where the paint has scratched off and the metal underneath has begun to rust, and the control panel on the back is scratched up a bit, but it is structurally/mechanically sound and ready to rock!

I'm looking to sell this in the Portland/ reasonable- Oregon/Washington area for $400 or trade for a quality 4 ohm 15" cab- Preferably Mesa (Powerhouse/ Diesel/ Scout), Schroeder, Bag End (did they ever do a 4 ohm 15?), Low End, etc. I am definitely willing to throw in some cash on my end for the right trade!

Thanks!

It is ported- the panel with the side firing speakers is incomplete, creating a shelf port. It is also sold as of almost a year ago!
