FS/ FT: Traynor YBA-4 Tube Combo

Ok, It's back on the market. I really like this amp but I've got more amps than I have space for, and something has got to go. 50 watt tube amp with 1 15". According To the serial number, this amp was built in March of 1975. It works great, sounds great, but it's not something that I'm going to use much. It has some scuffs, the top handle has been removed and stylish brown luggage handles have been added to the sides. It has four casters on the bottom, but none of them swivel. The pilot light does not work. Other than that, this is a great vintage tube amp ready to be enjoyed. If you want to sink some money into it, they are worthy of modding into a small beast of a tube amp. Here's the thread where I bought it from Teddybearlove last year: FS: Vintage All Tube 115 Combo, Traynor YBA-4

I think I got a really good deal at $330 plus half of shipping ($65) for a total of $395. I'll sell it for $425 shipped. It's a deal, somebody buy this before I change my mind again.

Tuesday bump. Buy it before I plug into it again and decide it's not for sale anymore.

I fought the urge to plug the fretless into this amp and wail away last night. I knew I'd take the "for sale" sign down if I did. Quick, buy it today before I go home and play through it and keep it.

Friday the 13th bump. I'm plugging it in and playing through it this weekend, then it will be too late, I won't want to sell it anymore. Thinking about putting a JBL E130 I've got on the shelf in it. Than should be interesting.

The controls only go to 10, but it's a really ballsy 10!

It sounds louder than 10 to me.

Ok, Here's something to consider. I have a JBL E-140 8 ohm that I've been saving for some unknown reason. I'd be willing to consider making a package deal for the amp and speaker. I haven't put it in the amp yet, but I may do that this week and see how it sounds.

Bump.

Please be aware that if I don't ship tomorrow it will be 2-3 weeks before I can ship. I'm having hip replacement surgery on 7/30.

I bet that thing would be killer with an E-140. I'm already loaded up on 50w and under tube amps. Have a bump on me!

Back with a new hip bump. Might be a little while before I can ship. I'm busy learning to walk again.

I can't let it go..... it's taking up too much room and I need some space.... I can't let it go, it's too cool... it's taking up too much room and I need some space....

See if you can catch me on the "it's taking up too much room" schizo mood swing. Bump.

Ok, I lied, it's not good for metal, it's about 950 watts and 7 speakers short of being good for metal. But it is a nice tone machine, and if you get the urge to play a deformed shrunken bass with six little dinky strings (sometimes referred to as a guitar), it makes those sound good too.
