FS/FT: Two Genz Benz NeoX-112T Cabinets

Sign in to disble this ad
*** The top handle cab has been traded. Only the side handle cab is left.***

Up for sale are two Genz Benz NeoX-112T Cabinets.

Functionally this cab is a 10 out of 10 with a very low, full sound. Cosmetically it's a 9 out of 10 with some wear on the covering.

These cabinets are slightly larger than the average 1x12 but they do sound deeper and fuller than the average 1x12. And the pair together can rival a lot of 4x10 cabinets for full sound.

One cabinet has the handle located on the side to facilitate easier stacking.

For an in person deal, I'd sell this cabinet for $325. Or $400 shipped.

The only trade I'd be interested in would be for a Mesa Walkabout head.

I'll have some pics up in the next day or so.

Pics please and why move the handle to the side from the top?

I may be confusing my GB cabs.
Are these the NEO shuttle extension cabs or the rat fur covered ones?

Thanks!

In addition to the handle being moved from the top to the side of that cabinet, the little rubber feet were also removed. The cabinet was modified to be place on top if these are stacked. This does two things:

1. It provides a flat surface on the top to put your amp with no handle there.

2. It allows the cabinets to lock together better when stacked with no feet on the bottom of the top cabinet.

These are not the Shuttle cabinets. These are from GB's NeoX line. While not heavy, they are large (for a 1x12). This is what gives them their deep, full sound.

The pics are coming.

Man, this is the speaker set up I have wanted for some time... I got the NeoX212T and always wished I had gone this way instead.

Hmmm... Let me think this one over a bit and see where i can move funds around at....

I'm getting motivated to move these out of my living room. If you're interested and within driving distance, drop me a PM and let's make this happen.

I love the handle on the side mod...I will probably try that with mine! Wish I had the funds for this. I sold off my second one and wish I had it back. Bump for a killer pair of cabs!

Seems like GB's amps are getting all the love these days. They make great cabinets too!

I think these are pretty unique as 1x12's go. They really have a big, low sound for a single cabinet. And the pair together can sound bigger than a lot of 4x10's.
