This is from 1978 and it's beat up. It's being sold as-is locally (Buffalo, NY). I'd like to trade to a 10" combo that can play over drums (to leave in a studio).
It is a 130 watt combo (4 ohms) that can get 400 watts with an extension cab. The A input doesn't work, B works fine. The Compressor works but the compressor light is broken. The controls are (Pre) Gain, Low, Mid frequency, Bandwidth, Mode, High. Essentially a 3-band EQ. It has a line out that is a 2-stage output, so all the way in cuts the speaker, and half way in leaves the speaker on, and the line-out still works.
ISSUES: When I play at loud volumes, the amp overdrives and sometimes cuts out, I'm not am amp Guru, but I'm pretty sure this is because my bass is active, and the active input (A?) is broken. I believe a passive bass should work just fine.
Also, the amp cosmetically is beat up, small scratches on the speaker cloth cover thing, and some finish in falling off, so you can see the wood. This amp is definitely capable on playing over a drummer but it is just way to large for what I play.
I would like $75 for it, or a partial (+ cash on my end) to trade for a smaller combo, like a Carvin Pro Bass 100 (Even you have a small combo that you don't play, PM me with a price please). This is my only amp, so I strongly prefer trade, but cash works. I won't ship.
BTW, this thing ways a butt ton, just letting you know.
