Gallien Krueger 1001RB ►540W @ 4Ω OR 8Ω + 50W horn
►DI Output (Pre/Post switchable, adjustable level) is located on the FRONT of the amp
►GIVE Technology for coveted GK tone
►Contour, Presence, and String Bass Voicing Filters
►AWESOME Bass-specific EQ section. This is taken from the manual: The sound you want is in your head, but you just can’t get
it. You think it’s you, your bass or maybe your amp. Yes,
your amp. Standard tone controls and graphic equalizers
don’t get it. Sure, they give you plenty of variation, but
they don’t provide what the instrument really needs. The
fact is, graphic equalizers are intended for room equalization,
and are only put in bass amps because it’s a nobrainer
for the designer. The equalization in Gallien-
Krueger amplifiers reflects 30 years of continuous
development and refinement. The GK equalizer is unique
to the industry, it’s not just a normal four band equalizer,
each section is a special circuit optimized to perform a
Bass specific job in its range of operation. These sections
are wired in Series, so they add to one another creating a
tremendously flexible equalizer, that doesn’t sound weird
at any setting. You actually might even get to hear that
sound in your head. ►Electronic Crossover for bi-amping horn - far superior to passive crossovers
►18lbs. / 2U rack space
►Huge headroom = noiseless operation 3U Gator GRB Rack Bag ►Great shape, no rips, tears, or stains
►Accessories pocket on side for cables, tuner, etc. Furman M-8DX Power Conditioner ►RFI/EMI interference filter for "clean" power
►8 AC outlets on the back + 1 on the front
►Pull Out lights to illuminate front panel of amp
►Digital LED Voltage Meter Amp and power conditioner have been rack mounted since purchase. The amp was recently repaired by expert professional musical electronics repair tech Steve Stockel of Music Repair Center in Charlotte, NC. The DI was replaced and the entire amp was checked. Steve says its in the exact same working condition as when it was new. There is a little wear on one corner of a rack ear and the DI level-adjust knob is missing (easy to order direct from GK), but the amp still works perfectly and looks great. Rack ears and rubber feet are included. $500 + actual shipping costs.
