FS: Gallien-Krueger 1001RB-II Head

This ia a GK 1001RB-II (second version) head by Gallien-Krueger. It's well known for its "growl" when the volume is pushed way up. It's definitely focused on rock music but will fit in with other genres just fine. There are a lot of cool features built in with this 700 watt amp, including GK's bi-amping. There is a full effects loop and tuner out.

This head is LOUD!!! It will rattle your walls, so be prepared!

The head is in perfect condition physically and operationally. There are no scratches or scuffs anywhere. All of the potentiometers work and are not scratchy at all. The head does not overheat, but the built-in fan will engage after about 30 minutes of playing.

The sale includes the head, a power cable, rack ears, and rubber feet. I don't have the original box or manuals.

SUPERB Amp!! It's very versatile--regardless of style. With the EQ and Boost you can get clean to mean, deep to bright. I use mine with 410 and 115 GK cabs with incredible success, but have used with Avatar and Peavey cabs.

I've been wanting one of these amps really bad for a while, I wish I wasn't completely broke or I would happily take it off your hands. I hope you find a buyer, these are incredible amps and will make someone very happy.

That is an incredible price for this amp in such pristine condition. If I didn't have a GK already this would have done it for me.
