Exclamation FS: Genz Benz Shuttle MAX 12.0 - $850 CONUS

Sign in to disble this ad
Just like the title states, I am letting go of mine for the same price as the last one sold for on TB - $850 shipped CONUS. Comes with soft bag & footswitch. Shipped in OEM box w/ all papers. Low usage. No issues. Minty fresh. This was the sexiest thing at the last NAMM. Pics up later, but I think this will be gone before I can get them posted. Thanks for looking!

I have to give a bump here. DataBass5 is a great guy to deal with and he takes really good care of his equipment. I had a chance to play through this amp and it sounds great! It sounded so good, if I had the cash it would have never made it to the TB Classifieds!

Someone please buy this before I am tempted to spend money I shouldn't which would undoubtedly get me a serious beat down from my lovely bride of 24 years.

Yup, it's true. Crash has put in a firm STANDING offer of $150 cold hard CA$H!

Had he made an offer of about $700 North of that, we'd not be reading this thread.

Oof. Talk about temptation. At a minimum, here's a bump for a good breed of cat and a terrific piece of gear. I've been lusting after one of these for a while now. While the thread ferments, I'll be over here in the corner, counting my scheckles and dreaming up rationalizations.

I tried that last night and ended up getting smacked in the back of the head. I think this is the fourth time in 24 years my wife has told me no.

Great Amp! I had one and traded it and severely miss it! You will not find this much sound at this small amount of weight! This thing was like 6 or 7 pounds and LOUD!

Thanks for all the interest yesterday, guys! Some tire kicking going on, and that's always welcome! In the OP I forgot to say I'm taking offers, so don't be shy!

Bump for a fantastic amp and a GREAT deal. I own one and it's everything the boards say it is. I especially like its ability to dial in just a touch of tube (or not), and the extra power.

Bump for a really great guy, and in hopes that someone buys this so I can just say, "Oh well...missed that opportunity." Fair price on a rockin' piece of equipment.

FWIW...why I want it... I love my Shuttle 6. Great amp. On this one, I didn't expect to like the FET pre...but I do. And mixing the two...just yum. With my 6.0, the tone is a love/hate. My Roscoes, Lakland, and Lull sound incredible through it. Ditto the Rob Allen. But the MTDs and Sadowsky? Yuck. Not so with the MAX12.0 - those basses, using the FET pre, sound awesome. So...this instantly becomes a 'cover all my basses' type of amp. The temptation is killing me!
