FS: GENZ BENZ Streamliner 900 with Jan Phillips NOS 5751 tube -595 shipped

I am the original owner. It is in mint condition. I purchased this new 2 months ago. I really liked this micro head from the beginning but thought the low end was a little boomy at first, until I changed the V1 tube to the jan Phillips. What a difference. The low end is much tighter and punchier. This is one of the few micros that have a 3 stage tube section and can provide you a multitude of different sounds.... And it is loud! 500w into 8 ohms, 900w into 4 ohms.

I'm selling to raise money for my Monique fund otherwise I would keep it.

A steal at 595 shipped. The tube alone will cost you 40 dollars. I have the original box and packing as well.

This is really subjective to the player and I don't want this thread to become a STL900 vs WT800 debate.

With that being said, I have/had both. The Eden is a great sounding head, but my preference has always been tube heads. I prefer the STL900 over the Eden just because of the many variations of tones you can get with the head, some nice overdrive sounds as well as warm tones, plus the most obvious is a very loud amp that is a micro and portable. I really don't want to carry around racks anymore. It also works very well with my Baer ML112.

But if I showed up at a gig and there was an Eden WT800 waiting for me, I would be very pleased. It is a great amp.

I would suggest searching the threads on both, consider the bass and cabs you presently use as well, type of tone you prefer or are looking to achieve, etc.

But as I said, it really is a matter of preference. They are both excellent amps.
