Up for sale is a practicically new GK amp setup.
The stack was purchased in February of 08 by me, and has been taken care of the whole time.
Most of you know about the 1001RB-II. It is a great head, 700+watts. Looking to get $475+shipping.
The cabinet is a discontinued model, but still a very versatile cabinet. I have encountered no problems. Looking to get $400+shipping.
I only have two pictures currently, but WILL take more upon request. |

They allow you to plug in up to 8 wall outlet plugs into the Powerconditioner. Which allows for a lot less cord tangle if you have a racksetup with multiple items. It also helps prevent a power surge.
Hope that helps.

Just out of curiosity, why are you getting rid of the GK 1001RB-II head? Just not your cup of tea? |

I am selling for 2 basic reasons.
1. I just bought a brand new car. I have big payments to be making.
2. I am no longer in a gigging band, and dont plan to be for quite a while. I am going to find a nice reliable GK practice amp, I don't have a need for the power of this head.
Maybe someday I will buy one again, but for now, and a few years to come, I dont have a use for it.

So what exactly are all of the products in the rack, from top to bottom? |

2. Korg DTR2000 Tuner. Great Tuner. Will describe more if you want.
3. Sennheiser G2 Wireless UHF Unit. GREAT never lost a signal on 8 different stages. LONG battery life.
4. GK 1001RB-II. Amazing head.
All this gear is going. The SBX case has been sold but it is now housed in an ATA approved Gator 6 space case.

And I've heard that the Korg DTR2000 tuner is amazing. What else is there to explain about it besides it being a great tuner? |

The Korg Tuner allows for "guitar" and "bass" tuning(aka gives string number instead of note name), as well as standard chromatic tuning. Also has a few open tunings(G,D,A I believe, i will check on the box when I actually get outta bed). VERY accurate. It has 3 tuning methods, if i remember correctly it allows for cents, hertz, and strobe. It picks up on the note name quick. Again more information can be found on www.musiciansfriend.com.

I mean, am I really at that great of risk of a power surge? Does it really make powering your equipment that much more convenient? Honest opinion. |

I dont have to worry about finding enough outlets to plug everything into, My guitarist was able to plug his wireless and amp into it as well. We were able to bring one extension cord to gigs and everything was great.
Is it NEEDED... NO. But its a nice lil accessory in my opinion.
Power surge risk... idk to be honest. I mean even some of the best clubs out there run a chance of a power surge at one point or another. Likelihood of that happening. IDK

So wait, the case the amp is set up in in the picture is gone now? If this is so and I understood you correctly, can you post a picture of the amp in the other case you're now selling with the amp?

I should verify that the GK 1001 alone is going for $475.
The extras would of course add on to the price
It would be about 1300 for EVERYTHING which includes the 2 monster patch cables.
Sorry If i threw you off on anything.
