Up for sale is an near new(3 hours max) Laney Nexus Tube 400 watt Tube amp. This puppy has all the bells and whistles. Here are a few specs:

* 400 Watt Bass Head
* Tube & FET Switchable Preamp
* Built-in Compressor, FX Loop, XLR DI, Tuner Output
* 2, 4, 8 Ohm with Speakon Connection
* 8 KT88 power amp tubes, 3x 12AX7's, 1x 12BH7 .
* Includes Foot switch/Cable

Full Spec Sheet:

http://www.laney.co.uk/show_spec.php?prod=nexus-tube

Demo:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4KkqJ...layer_embedded

*FYI* The demo does not do this amp justice. Most demo's don't EVER have anyone playing in the actual style we play(go figure).

I am looking to get $1100 $1050 shipped. I also have the matching cab though shipping was a bit rough price wise.
PM with any questions and thanks for looking!!!!

Bump for an amp that is way more versatile and powerful than both my Carvin B1500 and Mesa Titan V12(check the overall specs on the Laney versus the Carvin/Mesa). I have 2 bad discs in my back so loading this on top of an 8x10 is killing me(didn't think the weight would really be an issue). If this was the same weight as my Mesa/Carvin one of them would be gone......Unfortunately I just can't risk re-injuring myself. The 8 KT-88's @ 400 watts are deafening and the endless tones are ridiculous. Do the research and you'll see this is an incredible amp!!!!!!

I know that feeling! I'm only 21 but my SVT-II is a hefty 70 lbs, only 5 shy of your head and 30 short of my girlfriend! Somehow she seems lighter than that head, but I've never tried to put her on an 810.

Free bump from someone who is obsessed with all tube heads but too short on cash to pick up his 3rd!

PM's replied. Some serious interest but no one pulling the trigger. This is by far the best tube head I've owned and can comparatively give my opinion with this amp against the Mesa 400+(owned 3) and the Ampeg SVT II (and 2 Pro). The Laney is louder, more powerful and has a lot more features then both combined. If it were lighter it would stay........Feel free to drop an offer but realize the shipping from Texas to me was $65. So take that into consideration when making an offer......

Definitely a killer looking and sounding head. I love the way they make it easy to determine a bad tube. When you are muted/not playing the inside glows red and when you play the tubes glow blue and a bad tube won't glow at all(or it stays default red). This amp has so many killer features it's crazy...............

I could come up with plenty of great excuses, just wish I had the money.
