Bump for a great TBer and great cabs - Don does excellent work. I had the mirror image of Deb's 12/6 (except for a tan grill cloth), one of the greatest cabs I've ever owned.

I believe both would be 8 ohms. The 12/6 should be 550w and the 15/6/1 "mucho" more.

Deb, did you move to Ken Jung's old house?

Yes, both are 8 ohms. The label on the back says 500 watts for the 12/6 and 600 watts for the 15/6/1. You can definitely use more power for both cabs.

Hah! You got me JXBass. My camera is not available for a week or so. Ken's pics are better than what I would have taken anyway.

Bump for a killer stack. If I wasn't already set with nEarfuls (LDS and Audiokinesis) I'd be all over this. Are they designed so the 12 can be flipped to align the mids when the 2 boxes are stacked (looks like it)?

Yes, they were designed to be stacked. I'm a DIY-wanna-be. There were a couple of things I wanted to test but never did.

Thanks to all the folks who are PM-ing me.

I'm going to post a general reply in this thread for all Talkbassers who are interested in having these cabs shipped. Currently I'm not setup to ship the cab. Maybe in 2 weeks time. Right now I greatly prefer a local sale. If the cabs are still available after 2 weeks, I'll try the shipping route. Our postal service is on strike so it would probably have to be shipped by UPS. From previous experience, I can estimate shipping to the US from Toronto will cost around $125 to $180 (and maybe more, depending on location/service/etc.).

I got the 12/6 twin from Jxbass. This cab is a steal at $350. I don't think you can buy the drivers for that price and the build quality and sound is outstanding.

Thanks nutdog and :::Bassist::: (sorry I'm missing a couple of colons).

Will do Chef!

The 12/6 was Don first 12/6 with the Faital mid driver. The 15/6/1 has greater port area than the usual squat format LDS nEARful. Tonally, this is very, very similar to a "built-to-spec" fEARful.

Yeah, I don't think you could build these cabs for the prices I'm asking. I would reduce the 15/6/1 to $500, if you twist my arm. More interesting in finding these cabs a good home.

Price reduction! 15/6/1 is now $500 (1st post has been edited to reflect that change). This is a great chance to buy a very reasonably priced fEARful-esque cab!

Both of those prices are a steal for that quality of cabinet! If I had the cash, I'd own them both right now. Good luck with the sale!

If you've been thinking about nEarful and live near deb, grab these cabs. They're a steal at this price. I've used a similar pair for 19 months and am super satisfied. LDS makes very nice gear. More polished than the usual homebrew cab.

The more I see'em the more I want to check'em out. They look pretty classy, great specs. I may make a move if can get reasonable shipping to San Antonio.

Put me in line if you decide to ship.
