- 8 ohms, 550 watts
- fixed side handles
- retractable tilt stand

- approx 36 lbs

Price is $450 shipped to Lower 48. Included is a new, padded Tuki cover with bottom strap.

Nice looking cab, but I'm way more interested in the bass in your Avatar... Is that really a 51 RI style P, semi hool and piezo ? Kinda like a Rob Allen, meets Dusty Hill ? freakin' awesome!

It is a Rob Allen. It's an MB-2 with a Rob Allen Solid 4 pickup, no piezo.

I agree it's a beautiful color combo. I modeled it after the Mesa Boogie Wine Taurus / tan grill combination, even sent Don a picture of a Mesa Boogie cab. He really does beautiful work with tolex and the grill was a new cane-like material he started to use around that time. Very nice.

The only thing better than the look is the sound. It goes great with my GB Streamliner (and also my LMII and Shuttle 9).

800 hz (it's in the description). I don't know, and didn't ask, whose Don uses.

I have the LDS 15/6 big bro to this. Superb cabs, and this is a great price.

Sorry, but not familiar with the Eminence 3012LF or the Faital 6.5" mid.
I take it the Eminence is a 12" speaker.
A cast frame?

Yes, 12". I'm not a speaker wiz, best info might be from the Eminence site:

Bump for a great cab and great TBer. I can't remember if I played this specific cab, but have played a few of the 3012LF/Faital LDS executions, and they are beautiful.

I've played a number of these with various crossovers (all at 800hz), and they all sounded 90%+ the same to my ear.

To the poster above who isn't familiar with this design, the 3012LF is a super powerful 12" driver that is almost a subwoofer type driver. The 6.5" mid driver is crossed over low, which many feel allows the 'best of all worlds'.... a deeply voiced woofer that can really handle a lot of watts and produce a very full, deep, clean low end, and then the upper mids and on up being handled by the powerful mid driver, which results in a very clean, pure upper mid, lower treble response, and a bit nicer dispersion of the high end across the stage. The Faital mid driver extends pretty high up into the treble range, resulting in a nice top end that is present but not 'tweeter sizzly'.

Very nice cab, and that Faital mid driver is a thing of beauty... very pure and airy and 'non ganky' versus the more 'in your face' response of the 18Sound that LDS uses in the 15/6 versions of this cab.

If you have a decent playback system, here is a clip of an identical cab, with my markbass F500 set flat and my ash/maple Sadowsk with stainless steel round wounds. REally does a nice 'studio monitor' type vibe to me... big, even, pure, accurate, but nice and warm and organic sounding.

Hi Ken,

Thanks for the additional specs and sound clip, very generous. Yes, my cab is identical to Deb's in your clip, except mine has a tan cloth grill while his is black.

Sheboygan ?!?!
