FS: LDS nEarful 15/6 (Carvin B1500 too)

This is one of Low Down Sound's takes on the fEarful 15/6 design. Kappalite 15" driver, 18Sound midrange speaker (6.5", I think), with a crossover around 800 Hz. Cabinet weighs under 50 lbs., 8ohm load.

This is an amazing cabinet! Incredibly loud and great sounding. But you MUST have a powerful amplifier to really make it work, at least 500 watts/8 ohm in my opinion. That said, if someone is interested in the Carvin B1500 sitting on top of it in the pic, I would consider selling that as well. It is an ideal pairing (although to be honest, the Carvin could drive two of these guys with no problem).

$550 shipped CONUS

The cab is 30.5" (H) x 20.5" (W) x 16" (D) (and under 50lbs, as I would confirm if I had a scale).

I'm not interested in trades at the moment for a few reasons, not the least of which is that I would buy this cab again (maybe with a tweeter this time) if money were not the issue, and I'm all set on amps. The ONE trade I would gladly accept would be a Headway EDB1 preamp.

A few other things: I think this may actually be a fEarful built faithfully to spec by LDS, and NOT a nEarful (which is Don's slight modification on the design). The outer dimensions are certainly the same as the fEarful 15/6.
Also, the cabinet has Don's special "Quantum Shield" finish, which is pretty indestructible.

What's your price on local pickup of both the LDS 15/6 and the B1500 amp? I can drive to Bloomington as it's about 2 hours from my AwkwardLoud studio.

I have a B1500 already, but would get another one if I find a good deal.

I think you're right. I have a LDS nEarful which definitely has different dimensions.

Honestly, the it could drive FOUR of those cabs. B1500 is rated 1900 watts at 2Ω. Four 8Ω cabs in parallel is 2Ω combined total impedance.

I just spaced out for a minute and drooled a little bit upon reading that and envisioning it...

If we do this deal, then I can bring 3 other 8Ω 15/6 cabs so that you can experience the....uh....blissful ear****.
