FS: Markbass "Jeff Berlin" combo and NY151 stack MINT!

Sign in to disble this ad
***UPDATE as of Sept 20, 2011: THIS RIG IS SOLD***

FOR SALE: Markbass "Jeff Berlin" combo amp and matching NY151 extension cab TOTAL MINT CONDITION!!

Please note: I absolutely will not separate. I will only sell this rig as a stack (both items together).

I do this alot. I buy brand spankin new stuff, put it in my non-smoking home just to "have it", and then I turn around and sell it around six months later. My wife just shakes her head (hey, there are worse hobbies to have, right?) Anyway, I just bought this Markbass Jeff Berlin combo amp and matching NY151 cab about six months ago from Music123, and here it sits in my room. Never gigged! I have just played it in my room maybe a half dozen times. It is in total mint condition. No dings, no blems, no spills. And I only played a four string bass through it (no 5 stringers) so it has been babied. And I have never played it loud (I live in a condo). The only thing I did when I first got it was remove the Jeff Berlin logo from the grill on the combo amp because I thought it looked a little hokie. Please note that the high tech cover on the top of the amp (the towel) is not included in the sale. I just kept that there to keep dust off of the top of the amp.

The amp head that is in the combo is the newer Markbass amp with the pre and post switch for the DI out. The amp says "Combo Head II" on the front which is identical to the Markbass LittleMark III standalone amp head. I was planning on using this amp stack when my band project got off the ground, but it never did. If you are looking for an essentially brand spankin new Markbass amp stack without the new price, then this is it!

The combo amp weighs 47 pounds, and the extension cab weighs 37 pounds. This rig puts out 500 watts RMS into the pair of 15 inch B&C drivers. The rig is portable but puts out sound like a big rig. Very nice design by Markbass!

I question my sanity in selling this rig, but I need to pay some bills, so I am putting it up for sale, along with some other bass gear that I have. This stack would normally cost you $1800 new at Music 123. I am asking $1250 shipped CONUS. Both items will ship in the original Markbass boxes with original packaging, just like new. As a bonus, I will throw in a brand new top-of-the-line Silverflex Speakon 4-foot speaker cable to connect the extension cab. This is a $50 cable and is the absolute best available. I have over 80 feedbacks on the bay, all 100% positive. I am located in the Sacramento area of California. I accept Paypal. No trades as I need the cash to pay some bills.

Thanks Fender.

Yeah, this rig really rocks. And yet it's easy to transport.
