Hey all,
Got some stuff for sale (no trades please). 1) Markbass Little Mart Tube LMT:
Love this head, but am thinking about doing the whole TC RH450 thing...
Sorry no pics, but it is in mint condition. Have had it about a month. Two church gigs, no marks that i can find. SOLD on ebay...TB takes too long sometimes... paypal personal payment. 2) Sonic Research ST-200 turbo tuner:
Literally the fastest, most accurate tuner i've ever owned (and i think on the market, for that matter!) SOLD paypal personal payment. 3) Sadowsky Outboard Preamp/DI w/Sadowsky power adaptor:
Great preamp/DI. Have used it on a couple gigs. Makes my Jazz sit in the mix soooo well! $190 shipped paypal personal payment. 4) Tech 21 Sansamp VT Bass:
Makes my LMT/AE210 rig sound like a big SVT/810 (well, not really 'feel,' like one, but sure sounds like one!) SOLD paypal personal payment.

Of course IMVHO!!! Good luck with the sales. Someone will get a great amp!

I'm just thinking...get the TC amp, sounds the same as MB LM series, plus get rid of VT bass, Sad preamp, and turbo tuner and save some money, ya know? |

I ended up spending more money trying to get the markbass sound I come to love. People say the sound on the RH450 is electronic sounding but I like the highs and mids I got from it but the lows sound like I'm hooked up to some cheep cab. Just VERY weak sound. But understand I'm not talking about the volume. It was just as loud as my markbass. It really wasn't for me. I loved the compressor but thought the tube tone is way overated! I bet that VT will sell fast! Good luck again.

It does a better SVT impression than the VT Bass and it sounds WAY louder than 450 watts. I'm about to switch over to Tecamp though. |

However, it is not nearly as transparent as the LM series of heads are, which could be a good or bad thing depending on what you're into.
To be honest, i hear no "gigging" difference in tone between the LM + VT bass/Sadowsky pre and the RH450 alone, i mostly did it to downsize my gear collection. Some guys just won't accept a Class D power amp, and for them, there's the class AB Markbass stuff and emulation pedals (like the ones i'm selling haha...)

Honestly, the LM heads sound like a clean SVT IMO.
Thanks for your comment BTW |

The F500 is a bit quicker and not as "wide" as the LM series, but on a gig it probably wouldn't be noticeable. Not long ago I was still pretty biased against class D, but after playing the newer Markbass, Tecamp, RH450 etc. I have come to the conclusion that class D can be as good as class AB. Of course, when it's time to go to the studio, I still always grab a tube amp. |
