I'm selling my complete Markbass rig, simply because I've gotten GAS for a Genz Benz rig. This Markbass rig includes: - Markbass TA503 500-watt head with tube preamp
- Markbass Standard 104HF 4x10" cabinet (4 Ohm)
- Markbass footswitch (for activating the mute function and EQ bypass)
- Markbass official 104HF cabinet cover (made from polyester, foam, & nylon)
I bought all of it brand new in May of 2010, and I've literally been the only person to ever use any of it. I've taken care of this rig as if it were my child, and the whole thing is in like-new condition... No flaws whatsoever! It would be hard to find a used amp rig in better condition than this one. I even still have the manual and rack ears with the head.
When I bought it brand new, I paid $1149.99 for the head, $899.99 for the cabinet, $39.99 for the footswitch, and $79.99 for the cabinet cover. It was a total of $2169.96 brand new... I'm selling the entire rig for $1650, shipped CONUS!
[Edit] - I have also decided that I am willing to sell the head (with footswitch) and the cabinet (with cover) separately.
$900 for head and footswitch, shipped CONUS. $750 for cabinet and cover, shipped CONUS. Price drop: $1450 for the entire rig shipped. Or I'll sell the head and footswitch together for $800 shipped, or the cabinet and cover together for $650 shipped.
If you want the specs on the head, here's the link for the item description on the Markbass site... Markbass - TA 503
And if you want the specs on the cabinet, here's the link for it as well... Markbass - Standard 104HF
I'm located in southern Mississippi. If you want to buy it and are close enough to pick it up, I'll knock off whatever shipping would be from the price in that case. Pics are now posted in the thread!

| | | | Price drop on cabinet The price of the Markbass 104HF cabinet brand new has just went down. Therefore, I'm reducing the price of my 104HF cabinet to $650, shipped CONUS, with the cabinet cover included (an $80 dollar cover).
As I said before, this cabinet is in like-new condition... No flaws at all. And it's the 4 ohm version.
The TA503 head with footswitch is also still available for $800 shipped CONUS. Or I'll sell the entire rig for $1450 shipped.

| | | | Rig arrived today. Of course I couldn't wait to hear it so I first tried it downstairs and in a very open space. WOW!! One thing I keep reading about MB is that a MarkBass rig can actually change the way you play. Well, I can attest to that statement. Setting the VPF and VLE to about 2 oclock attenuates the highs, scoops the mids, adds low end attack/punch with a fast decay and makes for an awesome Mowtown sound! And I guess you get with the program a bit and shorten notes for added emphasis. Man, a great sounding rig!
And seriously, it was probably easier getting the cab upstairs than it was getting the empty box it came in to the basement!
Thanks, Kody for taking such great care of your stuff!
Peace,
Ivan |
