FS: Mesa 400+ bass amp (Chicago)

EDIT!

Looking for a straight sale now, got anxious and pulled the trigger on a new rig. $1000 shipped CONUS, $950 for my Chicago friends.

Ok, so I have this awesome Mesa 400+ bass amp, but it's not bringing me as much happiness as my GK 1001 RB II. Strange? Absolutely. But I am Polish and left handed, so it's par for the course. So instead of sitting on this awesome head, I figured I would put it up for trade and see what's out there? I'm big into Solid State amps lately, GK amps are awesome. A MarkBass LMII and a 610HLF are high on my wish list right now. The head is worth at least $1000, keep that in mind when throwing offers my way.

This head has never been gigged. I am the 2nd owner, everything is original. Tubes have less than 100 hours on them, and the amp is in perfect shape except for a little rack rash on the holes. I'll take some pics when I'm at the studio on Sunday. So, what do ya got?

EDIT:

looking for a straight sale now, can't edit the title though. $1000 shipped, $950 local!

How about an Ampeg (SLM/USA) SVT6Pro? It's a hybrid, but that 400+ is about the only amp I'd trade it for. Shipping is risky though, so let's both just think about it for a bit.
