FS: MESA BOOGIE D-180 w/ Rack case

For sale here is a fully-restored Mesa D-180. It is an early-production D-180 from 1982-83, with the 2-12AT7/ 2-12AX7 in the preamp section. All preamp tubes are original or NOS replacements. The power tubes were replaced with a matched sextet when the amp was re-capped. I'm asking $700, plus shipping. That includes the 8-space rack case, in excellent condition. Obviously, DFW-are would be preferred, but I can meet-up in the vicinity w/ Austin/OK City folks.

This amp was completely gone-through and serviced by Slemmons Music Service (Terry Slemmons did this one himself), which is the official Mesa service shop here in DFW. The amp needed a full cap job, and he used all MESA caps so that the repair is indistinguishable from the factory original. All tubes were tested and replaced as-needed. NOS tubes were used for the 2 12AT7's, which were not original. All pots were cleaned, and everything checked-out thoroughly.

I've put about 12 hours of playing time on her since I've had it back from the shop. Only gigged twice, mostly used for recording/jamming, as I really didn't want to haul it around much w/o a shockmount case. I'm getting out of the collecting habit, so I'm letting her go. Over $400 invested in the service, cap job and re-tube. I have documentation to show all that was done.
There is no other amp that sounds like this one, not even the Bass 400's. The unique front-end on these allows some very cool sounds, and is capable of being one of the baddest guitar amps on the planet, if you really wanted to, as the volume 1 is voiced for guitar.
