I'm going after a dream amp, so I'm going to let this go waaaay below what they normally sell for to move it fast. This is going to be a very hard description to write, because this amp does so much. This is a two-channel Mesa Boogie Basis M-2000 with a footswitch. This amp has two completely independent preamps, one solid-state and the other has three tubes and they sound very different from each other. The tube preamp has that classic, warm tube tone that reminds you of motown and vintage rock for days. The solid-state channel is much more modern sounding with very good midrange. Each channel has rotary eq as well as a footswitchable graphic EQ. That's right, there are FOUR eq sections in this amp. Each channel also has its own compressor. The tube preamp has a footswitchable high gain mode, that overdrives the tubes and gives you honest to god tube distortion. Each channel also has its own compressor.
This is seriously the most versatile amp I've ever used. I run my 68 P into the tube channel and my Modulus Quantum into the SS state channel. That way I can EQ each channel for each bass and just switch channels when I switch basses.
The amp is 600 watts, which seems to be conservative estimate. It comes with the footswitch, but not the rack in the pictures. The rack could be included for a bit extra. I'm sure I'm leaving a ton out and I'll edit this thread when I remember more good stuff.
Price: $599 plus shipping with the footswitch. These usually sell in the $750 to $850 range. I'm pricing this super low to move it fast. I do take paypal.
