For Sale: Mesa/Boogie Strategy 400 Stereo Tube Power Amp

I have two of these, need to sell one. Amp is in great shape and has all new "Sino" Coke Bottle 6L6's in it. Face plate is very clean, so nice you could put it in your living room and use it as your hi-fi power amp if you wish. Functions perfectly and shakes the floor. Amp has left and right inputs, input attenuators, plus one mono input. 8 and 4 ohm output jacks. Rack size is 4U.

From Mesa/Boogie: The Strategy 400 is simply iconic. *Its ultimate rugged construction mixed with its super warm rich tube type audio put it way ahead of its time when introduced in 1986.....Metallica used the 400 to power all the ext cabs on the Master of Puppets Tours.

$950.00. Local pick up okay, or FedEx Ground to US addresses will be $50.00, amp will be double boxed for maximum protection. (Anywhere else would be too expensive.)

I was always wondering how would vocal PA work with that amp. Anybody has idea???

Your best bet would be to ask the guys in the Live Sound Forum and see what they think. I don't want to give out any bad advice.
