| The amp is either a REALLY late '82, or a REALLY early '83. All my research shows that it was in this period that the graphic EQ was installed in the amp, which it has. However, it is stamped as 1982, so it has to be the very end of that run.
The only problem I have ever had with it was the standby switch crapping out, and both that and the power switch were replaced (just to be safe). It has had a cap job just to be safe about a year ago. The tubes are three years old, but the amp is self-biasing. Also, it had a run through by amp tech about six months ago, and all was in perfect order.
All in all it is in great condition and mounted in a big Mesa shock-mount case (yes, it is actually suspended in the road case). It is a pretty sweet case.
