FS: Mesa M9

I am going to try to go a bit smaller in my equipment and having now sold my Mesa PH1000 and just acquiring a GK MB500 I have decided that this awesome M9 is just far more than I need. So here it is. Looks great and works 100% with no issues. I am not sure of the date of mfg and will try to find out ASAP. It is serial number 000147. I also know it had a full upgrade done at Mesa in Jan 2011 because I was told that when I ordered the handles and tube. Rich there told me that after that upgrade it would be as good as a new build. It's actually in better shape than I bought it because I added the front handles that were missing when I received it and installed a new SPAX7 tube. It's an upgraded 12AX7 tube and I will include the 12AX7 that came with it. Both work 100% and the only reason that I even bothered was to add a spare tube to the order since it was shipping anyway.

Added 11-14: I called Mesa today and here's what I have learned. The date of mfg on this was 3/09. Nobody prior to me had registered the product so this amp is now registered in my name with the warranty valid for 5 years from 3/09 making it valid through 3/14. That's a great peace of mind for anyone that gets this amp. I will provide a bill of sale to help in the warranty transfer process and avoid any potential problems for the new owner.

I kick myself. I didn't think to ask if you wanted to sell it back to me.

I just bought one here on TB last week but yours has all the upgrades already done.

Dayum! That is unfortunate for both of us. Well, it's here and you know it well so if anything changes or you prefer this one to sell the one you own I'll make it happen. Thanks for the bump and great to hear from you.

Yup, that's a full two and a half years of warranty left...

I can attest that this amp operates without flaw.

Some of these are buggy, even after updates, so that's something to consider when you are looking at buying one of these, NOT this one.

This one is ready for anything and will handle tours or weekend jam sessions with the boys who can't find their volume knob.

For what it's worth, I exchanged some PMs with nervous about this amp. I am personally not sure an M9 would be right for me in my current situation (though it is still tempting), but it is on my short list of amps to try, and if I were to pick one up right this second, this would be the one. I'm not affiliated with him or the previous owner, worxforme, in any way, but I can say that I found him helpful and forthcoming in his correspondence and that the history of the amp would give me more confidence than I might have otherwise.
